🎚 New Update Is Already on the Site

We've gathered several important improvements for LitCritic: updated short analysis, long manuscript critique, added technical text statistics, report ratings, and several interface enhancements.

1️⃣Analysis and Critique

Now when launching Analysis and Critique you can choose the report version:

Available versions
Analysis 1.2 β€” new version with updated model and technical text statistics;
Analysis 1.2 Pro β€” version with a stronger model;
Analysis 1.0 β€” old basic version, kept for comparison for now.

Critique 1.2 β€” new version of critique;
Critique 1.2 Pro β€” more expensive version with top model;
Critique 1.0 β€” old basic version.

The new analysis includes additional text data: sentences, paragraphs, repetitions, dialogues, and vocabulary. The structure and sections of the reports remain the same; only the quality and additional information have changed.

For new versions of critique, it's better not to close the window during analysis until the report is complete.

The structure remains almost the same as before, only structure and character tables have been added, and the quality and detail of sections have increased.

😷😷😷😷 For Analysis and Critique v1.2, token consumption is temporarily reduced by 2 times!


2️⃣ Text Statistics

New statistical blocks have appeared in the tools.

Now you can view:

- sentence length;
- longest and shortest sentences;
- paragraph statistics;
- proportion of direct speech;
- number and length of lines;
- repetitions of 2 and 3 words;
- repeated sentence beginnings;
- basic vocabulary and text diversity.

Detailed lists remain in the tools and are currently completely free for all users, while a brief summary can be seen in the Analysis reports of new versions.

3️⃣ Report Rating

A feedback form has appeared at the end of saved reports.

Now you can rate the report on several parameters:
- overall rating;
- usefulness;
- accuracy;
- completeness;
- comment.

This will help us understand which reports are truly useful and which need improvement.


4️⃣ Document Structure Improvements

We've slightly improved the document structure.

Now when hovering over a file or folder, a drag icon appears. This should make it clearer that documents and folders can be reordered and moved. This feature has been around for a while, but based on your requests, we realized we needed to make it more visible.


The icon appears only for the element you hover over and does not interfere with document handling.
