Good morning, friends!☀️
Music term of the week — belting.
Belting (from English to belt — "to drive, to shout") is a vocal technique that allows you to hit high notes using the chest register with a powerful, full, and rich sound. It is often called "vocal screaming" because of the sound's intensity, but the main difference from ordinary screaming is that everything is controlled: breathing, resonance, and vocal fold function. When performed correctly, the technique is safe for the voice; when performed incorrectly, it can lead to strain on the vocal apparatus.
We invite you to a vocal assessment — the teacher will not only tell you your voice type but also advise what is important to improve to sing more easily and confidently.
