"Among Us" (2026, USA)

A fun sci-fi animation and another very loose adaptation of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" [which, however, quickly stops following the template]

On a ship that is supposed to deliver a unique ore to one of the planets, mysterious murders begin to occur. Crew members [very eccentric individuals] are dropping like flies, and no one understands who the killer is: one of them or a stowaway?

To be honest, the sci-fi here is just the setting and interior. The story itself is universal, and that is both its strength and weakness. I would say it's a simple, no-strings-attached sci-fi with funny characters and decent jokes, the social satire is standard. But the episodes are 12 minutes long, which is very nice. It's adult animation on very low minimums.

I think the authors were inspired by projects like "Avenue 5", but the overall tone is much lower
