Got a tattoo inspired by the sculpture 'Prometheus Bound'
The Titan Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humans so they could develop and survive.
For this act, Zeus severely punished him, chaining him to a rock in the Caucasus Mountains. Every day an eagle would come and peck at his liver, which would grow back overnight — and the torment repeated endlessly.
Prometheus became a symbol of self-sacrifice, defiance, and the will for freedom.
The work was done in one session, 6 hours of pure work. A feature of this tattoo was the dark skin, so it differs slightly from my other works.
