
In the morning, the press is full of invigorating headlines about growing demand for cider and the hot summer; they even try to convince us that the summer is actually hot (where?), but the reason is completely different.
In fact, the reason for the sales growth is the migration of drinks into the cider category from other categories due to lower excise taxes.
For example, a well-known brand with an Italian name (I won't name them out loud — they love to sue for any reason) has been produced in the cider category since last fall (and not only them); by the way, this was written about in the media, there was more meaningful analysis in February.
But it's not always possible to compare two parallel processes.
In short, it's not about the heat.
