I saved myself for over a year to see 'A Man and a Woman' on the big screen.

The film came out in 1966, and people still need happiness. The story skillfully extracts the most tender aspects of budding love, leaving the dregs of everyday life outside the frame. The main conflict, the obstacle to 'happily ever after,' feels quite weightless.

Nevertheless, both the editing and the cinematographic dizziness make the viewer gasp with delight. Perhaps 'A Man and a Woman' was created precisely for this.

Now in theaters!
I'll rewatch it in November.
