🤔Let's figure this out together; write what you think in the comments.
It seems to me that to answer this, it's important to know two things:
1️⃣ Performing a song is an act of higher nervous activity that involves complex work of the brain in activating and inhibiting various processes. Therefore, the first time you perform a new song, you will always sing it worse than after practicing it, no matter if you've been singing for 1 year, 10 years, or 30.
2️⃣ Nevertheless, the success of the first performance will differ among people with different levels of training: the more you practice vocals, the more automatisms you accumulate that allow you to sing a song for the first time more beautifully.
🎧I think you've encountered how professional singers evaluate a particular performance as not very successful, while you think it sounds fine.
This is that "average vocal level" that every vocalist has and that, as they say, can't be lost.
Therefore, in vocal lessons with our students, we always pay attention to these two things: on one hand, we gradually raise their level of vocal development, and on the other, we practice specific songs so they can already perform, record in a studio, and participate in vocal competitions🎙️
That's why you can practice vocals all your life. And this is not sad news but joyful if you truly love to sing and enjoy the process of self-development.
What do you think💛 Would you like to learn to sing "once and for all"💛
