Hi! I decided to write a series of useful posts for authors of webtoons and graphic novels who want to enter the Western market. And I'll tell you about one site, querytracker.net, which hosts a database of literary agents.
Why this one?
1. Huge database of current contacts — thousands of profiles across all genres, including Graphic Novel.
2. Everything is official — the risk of running into scammers is extremely low. Agents on the platform are verified, they take it seriously.
3. Convenient tracking — you always see the status of your query (sent, viewed, replied).
4. Free — basic functionality is available without payment.
5. Many literary agents in the US, Canada, and the UK do not accept queries via email, ONLY through #QueryTracker.
How to register?
• Go to querytracker.net, click Register / Sign Up.
• You can register via Google account — it takes 2 minutes.
• Confirm your email — and you're in the system.
Important: the entire site is in English. And all materials for queries also need to be prepared in English. You should be prepared for this from the start.
