Good morning, friends!☀️

Musical term of the week — melismas.

Melismas are special ornaments that add expressiveness and depth to a performance. Simply put, they are additional notes interspersed into the main melody: they do not change its essence, rhythm, or tempo, but make the sound more refined, emotional, and lively.

The term comes from the ancient Greek word "melos" — "song, melody."

We invite you to a vocal assessment — the teacher will not only tell you what your vocal range is, but also advise what is important to improve in order to sing more easily and confidently.
