Baltika decided to follow in the footsteps of a company producing something with an Italian name in the Moscow region and constantly suing everyone, and released a beer drink mimicking wine.
The composition is certainly not very wine-like, unlike the positioning.
It's a shame, of course, that in our overregulated market (only Sharia law is stricter), such products are allowed to exist.
Just from the Moscow region drinks with an Italian name and wine positioning, but with beer excise taxes, the budget last year UNDER-received 7 billion rubles; how much it will under-receive from the new product is still an open question.
And let's triple the excise tax on normal wine and increase duties?
The price of the new product from Baltika is from 72 to 100 rubles; the lack of consumption culture and taste education is free.
