At the beginning of the year, Roskomnadzor blocked the portal 'Author's Comic', the oldest online self-publishing resource in Russia, which united over 4,000 works and about 200,000 readers per month.

But the guys are not giving up. They managed to get Roskomnadzor to remove AC from the register of banned sites. Being in the register with the wording that got 'Author's Comic' there was dangerous for the portal's creators due to possible administrative and other consequences.

However, without a VPN, the site still cannot be accessed, because according to Roskomnadzor, 'Author's Comic' still has materials that qualify as 'banned'.

So why is this good news? Because the fact of accessing AC, publishing on it, and reposting cannot be classified as a violation. And the admins might not be imprisoned.
