"Dandelion Parade" (English version of "The Path of Ukusai") now also has its own business card that can be distributed across social networks and public pages. However, even without promotion and despite the fact that only 28 chapters have been translated and 25 published, the translation is being read, while the original is not. This is very sad, of course, because the original is always better. And because it is written in a language that is native to me.
In general, my Russian-language website is a very strange place. My subscribers clearly do not visit it, and the main visitors are random people from search engines who come with queries like "short science fiction story", "5-minute story" and end up in "Zamirye". During the school year, there are sometimes crowds of these visitors, and in summer it's quiet. It seems that schoolchildren are given science fiction stories as homework, otherwise I don't know how to explain it.
It would seem that this is all very good, because if a person likes the stories, they will want to read other books by the author. No, they won't. They came for stories - they read only them, and then leave. That's it.
