The feature was inspired by frequent flights and the high-quality long posts from the guys at "After the Credits" - the problem is that they can't be read on the plane. So we're putting it up for discussion - the ability to download posts and read them offline. The iPhone and Android app should do this automatically. The user simply selects sections like "Favorites", "My Feed", or "Subscriptions" and the app automatically downloads the latest 10-20 posts, updating the feed and storing only the freshest ones.

Other portals don't do this because they need to serve ads and your offline views don't generate revenue. We're not constrained by KPI frameworks, so - everything for the users!

For discussion - how should this work, how many posts by default, how long to store them, what settings should be available, are there examples where this works great?  And of course - do you even need this feature - rate it below?
