At the refectory of the Andreevsky Monastery, there is a large selection of pies, cookies, and various pastries. The head chef is Greek, so where appropriate, citrus zest, nuts, and something else not quite clear are added—let's consider these Greek hints.
There's a signature "potato" cake, I give it a like, and I also like the pies with nuts/cherries.

Prices range from 100 to 230 rubles, and sitting by the window with a view of the embankment is free.
Besides sweets, there is also regular food; the menu will be in the comments.

The monastery grounds are very well-kept and full of lazy cats, in short, bliss.
Above the monastery looms the Russian Academy of Sciences building, a slightly ironic neighborhood.

Stop by if you're walking around Vorobyovy Gory, but go to the refectory in the courtyard, not the tea room at the entrance.
