🤔
Today I introduce you to Masha, an analyst at Sber, author of the channel “Analytics for the Little Ones” ✅
The channel has been around since 2022 and started as a cheat sheet for Yandex Metrica. Now it covers metrics, dashboards, UX, and that real work kitchen that is usually kept quiet about 😎
I liked that Masha writes not “how it should be in an ideal world”, but how it really is. The client came a month after the campaign started, no markup, no goals, but they want the funnel today. Literally retold my day 😂
I recommend three posts: 💪
1️⃣ Which clients are a red flag for an analyst, three signs that immediately show the project will be painful. And how it should have been done in advance 💯
2️⃣ “Your numbers are somehow wrong. Recalculate”, end of quarter, the client summed up the results themselves, and you defend the methodology, calculations, and your good name. Painful and funny at the same time 😡
3️⃣ Numbers without context, rating is high, but the number of reviews has dropped significantly. Analysis of how moving one block on a site quietly breaks the metric ⚡️
And the rest of the posts are a must-see...
If you are interested in:
➡️ how to talk to the client before everything burns down;
➡️ which metrics to actually look at in the product, not in a report just for show;
➡️ how dashboards and analytics are built inside a big green company;
I recommend subscribing to Masha's channel. And if you also had a red flag client, come to her comments, they'll recognize their own there 😂
