Predictable, especially if you walk on the ground rather than fly on Pink Pony Airways 🦄

In January–June 2026, sales of alcoholic products (excluding beer, cider, mead, etc.) in the HoReCa segment (hotels, restaurants, and catering) fell by 42.4% year-on-year.
At the same time, the volume of alcohol sales in stores remained almost unchanged: the decline was only 0.65%

The most pronounced decline in sales is shown by wine products, whose sales volumes fell by 44.8%

It is clear that part of the volume from HoReCa has flowed into retail, which helped support sales, but how we came to a situation where huge retailers have become more flexible and faster to respond to the external environment than restaurant structures - I don't quite understand.

Probably, another six months should pass to realize the fact that simply multiplying the cost by 5-8 and slapping a price on the menu is not the way out.
