Corporate ageism in Russia appears to be fading away. Large companies are increasingly hiring people aged 55+ due to a shortage of experienced specialists. Employers say such employees bring strong expertise, handle workload more calmly, and help younger workers on site.

At SIBUR, they launched the "Labor Longevity" program for this purpose. Through it, the company retains experts who have already retired and offers them conditions and positions. Currently, about 2,400 people are working under the program. The market increasingly values experience that cannot be quickly acquired.
