▶️ Today Samsung announced that it has become an official partner of the upcoming game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The game is scheduled for release on October 23.

▶️ Samsung is the "official game partner for TVs, monitors, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers." In practice, this means the game will support Samsung's HDR10+ Gaming format, which, according to the company, "helps ensure more accurate color reproduction and contrast, contributing to an immersive visual experience that reflects the developers' creative intent."

▶️ Additionally, the game will support the 32:9 aspect ratio of Samsung Odyssey G9 monitors, allowing their owners to "experience a wider format" and "a wider field of view in the game." Samsung will also distribute early access codes to the game through the Samsung Promotion app. These codes will give select players the opportunity to participate in beta testing from August 21 to 25, before the open beta from August 28 to September 1.

▶️ At Gamescom 2026, which will take place from August 26 to 30 in Cologne, Germany, visitors will be able to try out Modern Warfare 4 at the Samsung booth. At this event, Samsung will provide select players with codes for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Vault Edition for battle.net.
