Never sleep with your child, you might crush them
Are you out of your mind? Every breastfeeding consultant and any other reasonable specialist will tell you that sleeping with your child is safe, and in some cases necessary. You just need to follow safety rules. The book "Sleeping with Your Baby: A Parent's Guide to Cosleeping" by James McKenna can help with that.
Feed your baby every 2-3 hours
Again, reasonable specialists will twirl a finger at their temple and say: "feeding on demand, not by the clock." For breastfeeding with love and practical guidance, you can read Carlos González's book "A Gift for Life: A Guide to Breastfeeding".
And I'll add a couple more recommendations to this list:
"Kiss Me! How to Raise Your Children with Love"
And
"The Secret Support: Attachment in a Child's Life"
I'm sure you've heard of the latter more than once.
Dear mothers and those who are about to become one, if you have chosen the path of conscious motherhood, then filter the information that is poured into your ears. Remember that not all of it is equally useful. Listen with your heart, and look for those specialists who resonate with you.
