A semi-funny post about Czech deputies literally came to life and was even caught on camera, but at the municipal level and in Moldova.

An independent municipal councilor, Tudor Bucan, consumed alcohol right during a meeting of the Durlești city council (a suburb of Chișinău).

The incident was captured by cameras and spread across social media.
The footage shows the councilor drinking from a bottle that looks like a whiskey bottle (seems to be Jameson).

Police were called to the meeting, and the man was taken to the Republican Narcological Dispensary.

Commenting on what happened, the councilor stated that drinking alcohol during the meeting was a "necessity," without specifying details.

So, the councilor is not so "independent" after all 🥃
