The thaw in St. Petersburg turned into an icy bombardment of cars. In the city center, snow and chunks of ice fell from roofs onto several parked vehicles. Cars near building 22 on Angliysky Prospekt and building 29 on Zagorodny Prospekt were damaged.

Residents are asked not to leave cars under eaves and to avoid buildings with uncleared roofs. During a thaw, snow falls sharply and unpredictably.
