Warming will arrive in Novgorod Oblast on February 22, according to the Novgorod Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.

Snow is expected at night, and in some districts it may turn to wet snow during the day. The west wind will strengthen, and icy conditions are possible on the roads.

Nighttime temperatures will range from minus 4 to minus 6 degrees, with daytime temperatures around zero. Moderate precipitation is forecast during the day.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for Novgorod Oblast previously reported that the snow cover height in the region has increased to 32 centimeters.
