Continuing the series of posts #soon_mom_2_0

I am very worried about the relationship between Nastya and the baby. Our girl is quite conscious, she is really looking forward to the baby, constantly kissing the belly, talking. She says, "Can I give my potty to the baby?", "Can I give my seat to the baby?", "Where will he eat?", "Where will he sleep?", "Let him sleep in my crib with me", "Let's give this rattle to the baby." But I am an ultra-worried mom, I can't let everything take its course. So what to do? Go to books, what else.

Currently I am studying V. Payevskaya "Several Children in the Family", as well as A. Faber and E. Mazlish "Brothers and Sisters".

What I have taken away from reading so far:
DO NOT GIVE IN TO THE TEMPTATION TO COMPARE
Instead of unfavorably comparing one child to another, describe what you see/feel/need to do

If a five-year-old child protests: "You stay home with him, but I have to go to kindergarten, it's unfair," it is advisable to answer: "You are 5 years old now. When your brother turns 5, he will also go to kindergarten."

Upon returning from the maternity hospital, you need the ability to immediately fully switch your attention to the older children. Regardless of whether they meet you at discharge or wait at home, I recommend that you forget about the newborn for a while. Direct all your attention to the older children

Give each child anchor points, discuss how life together with the baby will be in the near future. You can say: "Even though we will have a baby, you must know that I love you very much and I will always have time for you. We will continue going to the pool as before"
