Here are two interesting charts from a Dealroom research report. They highlight the strong growth in interest in early-stage startups. Year-over-year growth in early-stage investing is 24%, and Europe has caught up with the US in the number of investments in early-stage startups.
This is not surprising - many funds and startups have already learned to work with late stages and significantly increased the survival rate. Now new challenges are working with early stages, where everything is unclear, risks are higher, and therefore the profits of funds and accelerators can be many times higher!
