On the morning of February 24, two murders occurred in the village of Kulunda. A 40-year-old man driving a car hit a 63-year-old woman. The woman died at the scene. The driver fled, reported the Investigative Committee for the Altai Territory.

Then the man went to his father and asked him to take the blame for the accident. The father refused. Then the son struck his father on the head and body multiple times with an axe. The father died at the scene.

The man was detained.
