▶️ Oppo already has a large number of devices named "A6", but the company can always release more — and it just did, adding four more new models. It would be great if they got unique names, but there aren't that many letters and numbers... or something like that.

▶️ So, here we have the Oppo A6. No, not that Oppo A6. This new phone (model number PLS120) is slightly smaller, with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with 1080p+ resolution — a better panel than the 6.75-inch IPS display with 720p+ resolution in the global version. The new panel also has an under-display fingerprint scanner (optical), replacing the side-mounted scanner.

▶️ The standout feature of both A6 models is the massive 7000 mAh battery. The new version supports 80W SuperVOOC charging and 44W PPS (compared to 45W SuperVOOC and 33W PPS in the global A6).

▶️ The smartphone still runs on the Dimensity 6300 chipset and is available in 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB configurations (LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage). There is a microSD slot. The smartphone has enhanced water resistance with IP68 and IP69 ratings, like the global A6.

▶️ The phone still has a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP auxiliary camera, but the front camera resolution has increased to 16 MP (from 8 MP). However, the maximum video resolution remains 1080p at 60 fps.

▶️ Next up is the Oppo A6s. No, not that Oppo A6s. Oddly enough, this model is in some ways the opposite of the previous one — it uses the same basic 6.75-inch LCD display with 720p+ resolution as the global A6s, but the front camera resolution is reduced from 16 to 8 MP, and SuperVOOC charging power is 45W (compared to 80W in the global A6s).

▶️ The Dimensity 6300 chipset remains the same, but now larger memory configurations are available: 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB (LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage). The microSD slot is also retained.

▶️ So, how does the new Oppo A6s differ from the global A6 without the s suffix? Well... you see... we're sure someone at Oppo knows the answer. And that's not all.

▶️ The Oppo A6i+ is a new combination of letters and numbers, but not a new combination of features. Essentially, it's the same global A6 model, which, as mentioned above, is no different from the new A6s. In fact, the A6s and A6i+ share the same model number: PLT120.

▶️ Additionally, there is the Oppo A6v — another combination of letters and numbers, and a new model number: PLT130. It differs from the A6s/A6i+ — it has a 5 MP front camera (instead of 8 MP), a 6500 mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging (instead of 7000 mAh), and a lower IP64 rating. Nevertheless, it's not a new model, as it is essentially the same as the A6t.
