Training of expert subject committees that will check exam papers of graduates has been completed in the Novgorod Region. The classes were held at the Regional Institute of Professional Development, with 306 people undergoing training.

The Ministry of Education of the Novgorod Region reported that the training covered how the 2026 State Final Examination (GIA) is conducted, how to check and evaluate extended-response tasks in various subjects, how to assign points according to criteria, and which documents regulate the GIA and the work of the regional subject committee. Special attention was given to control measurement materials and typical difficulties in checking papers. At the end of the course, a final qualification work was completed.
