▶️ Google's Nano Banana is arguably the best AI-based image generator and editor, and the company knows it has a very popular tool in its hands. So popular that Google is now working on integrating Nano Banana into one of its most popular apps — Google Maps.

▶️ If this seems strange to you, you are not alone, but apparently it is really happening. The folks at Android Authority found several corresponding lines of code in the latest version of Google Maps. They are laying the groundwork for Nano Banana to appear in Google Maps.

▶️ If you are wondering how Nano Banana can be used in the app, apparently it can be used to create images based on places available in Street View mode. Of course, Nano Banana can give these places a new fun style depending on your request.

▶️ Either this will become the most niche and underused integration of Nano Banana, or a fun way to generate images based on real places. We'll see. Since some lines of code for this feature are already in the latest version of the Maps app, we assume that the official release of this new feature is not far off.
