Remember the story about the contractor Conduent, which services government programs (food stamps, unemployment benefits)? Well, the leak turned out to be much larger. If in February it was about 10 million victims, now the number has exceeded 25 million people across America.

And this is not the limit. At risk are names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and even medical information.

The most affected are in Texas and Oregon, but notifications have already been sent to residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The most alarming thing is that the company still hasn't explained how the breach occurred and how many people are actually affected.

For comparison: last year's Change Healthcare leak affected 190 million people. So this is not just "another incident," but a systemic problem.
⚡️ After leaks, scammers become active. Any message saying "urgently confirm your data" or "you are entitled to compensation" is most likely phishing. Do not click on links.

Change your passwords. Especially for email, government services, and banks. Use a password manager so you don't have to remember hundreds of combinations.
