In the village of Shimsk, participants of the 'Active Longevity' project at the local sports center received five sets of cross-country skis.

Earlier, the Governor of the Novgorod Region, Alexander Dronov, visited the 'Shimsk Sports Center'. There, the coach of the 'Silver Age' group, Nina Lisenkova, asked to donate skis to the group.

On February 26, by order of Alexander Dronov, skis, boots, and poles were delivered to the sports center. The presentation took place with the participation of Deputy Governor Oleg Shakhov and the head of the Shimsk District, Olga Arkhipkova.

Now the group will be able to add outdoor activities to their winter training. In a post on the sports center's VKontakte page, the 'Silver Age' group thanked Alexander Dronov for the gift.
