Residents of Novgorod are invited to take a survey on whether home internet is needed in villages where it is not yet available.

The Ministry of Digital Development is collecting responses from residents of those localities where the state has already provided basic communication, but connecting homes to the internet has not yet been done. The survey is needed to understand demand and prepare solutions for connecting individual households.

The survey includes villages with a population of less than a thousand people, where fiber-optic lines have already been installed. They were used, for example, to connect schools, hospitals, and administrations to the internet or to set up mobile communications, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and Communication Technologies of the Novgorod Region reported.
