▶️ Teasers for the upcoming Honor Magic V6 continue to appear, and in the latest one we can examine the inner display of the foldable smartphone. Honor CEO Wang Fei shared images on Weibo where no crease is visible in the middle.
▶️ When looking at the screen straight on, it seems there really are no creases, which is impressive since all modern foldable smartphones have a noticeable bump in the middle.
▶️ According to Fei, Honor has achieved a crease-free display on the Magic V6 without sacrificing other features such as a thin and light body, battery capacity, and performance. Honor previously confirmed that the V6 will have IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, making it the first foldable smartphone with such durability.
▶️ We also know that the foldable smartphone uses an improved display protection with ultra-thin glass (UTG) and the industry's best reflectance of 1.5%, which should enhance usability outdoors in very bright light. Honor also uses an updated Super Steel Hinge, which increases device durability, and its internal components likely play a key role in the absence of visible creases on the display.
