It burns bright, but not for long. And trying to move mountains while it lasts is naive. You still won't achieve big results; there's too little time.
It's smarter to use motivation as startup capital. Invest it in creating a habit.
A habit is something that works on autopilot, without fuel in the form of inspiration. It will keep pulling you forward even when motivation burns out completely.
Suppose you want to take up sports. Don't rush to the gym every day for three hours while enthusiasm is overflowing. You need to integrate workouts into your schedule. Make the gym a part of your day.
Same time, same actions, same sequence. While motivation is still alive, cement the ritual.
Motivation will fade. But you'll be left with a system that works without it.
Follow how I build such a system.
We live in interesting times.
