Ice removal is underway on the streets of Veliky Novgorod after a sudden weather change. Employees of the Municipal Institution "City Economy", "Parks of Veliky Novgorod", and the contractor "Solid" are working. Mayor Alexander Rozbaum wrote about this on social media.

Primary attention is given to pedestrian crossings, stops, and sidewalks. Eight teams have been added to the work, five of them with equipment. Alexander Rozbaum asked management companies, homeowners' associations, and businesses to clear their territories, and residents and guests of the city to be more careful on the streets.
