The arch at the entrance to Lenin Park will reopen after restoration in May. The deputy mayor for construction spoke about how the work is progressing. The arch is considered a cultural heritage site, and the work is being carried out carefully.

Last year, the foundation and a column were reinforced, as they were in a pre-emergency state. The walls were plastered over a mesh. Based on old photos, the openwork fence was restored; it had stood here many years ago.

Currently, a sculptor is creating stucco molding and two statues. They will soon be returned to the niches of the arches. When it gets warmer, the arch will be painted with durable paint and lighting will be installed.

The first stage has already been completed, and the arch was mothballed for the winter. The work will be fully completed by May 1.
