From March 1, new alcohol sales rules come into effect in the Altai Republic.
On Sundays, the sale of alcohol is completely banned. The same ban applies on holidays and socially significant days, with a total of 14 dates on the list. These include New Year, Christmas, Victory Day, Student Day, May 1, and Children's Day.
Alcohol will also be prohibited from being sold in stores located in apartment buildings.
Standalone stores will be able to sell alcohol according to a schedule: Monday through Thursday from 11:00 to 19:00, Friday from 11:00 to 16:00, and Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00.
Cafes, restaurants, and other catering establishments are not subject to these restrictions.
Violations may result in a fine of up to 300,000 rubles, confiscation of goods, and license revocation.
