The search for the boy who fell through the ice on the Desna River has been ongoing for over a month.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations thanked the residents of the Bryansk region, rescuers, divers, volunteers, and helpers who went out to search in severe weather.

Currently, due to weather conditions and the state of the ice, going onto the ice is prohibited by a decree of the Bryansk City Administration dated February 27, 2026. The search continues, but now the work is being carried out by specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers, and divers.

Going onto the ice is dangerous, and it is not worth the risk.
