Over the weekend, rescuers from the emergency rescue service of the Novgorod Region Population Protection Department pulled three people out of Lake Ilmen.

Two reports of incidents came in yesterday at 15:45. Four rescuers in special vehicles went to the scene. All three were taken off the lake.

Rescuers urge people not to go ice fishing. With the warming, the ice becomes fragile, and going out on it is dangerous. Emergency services phone: 112.
