🔸 Lenovo has introduced two new tablets: one is ready for travel, while the other will feel at home in the office.

🔸 The Lenovo ThinkTab X11 is the company's first rugged Android tablet. It is IP68 certified and has passed MIL-STD-810H tests. Importantly, it supports a battery-less mode, so it can stay on the charger all day or be used as a kiosk. When running on battery, the X11 has a 10,200 mAh capacity.

🔸 The tablet supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and features two USB-C ports. An NFC module on the front simplifies payments.

🔸 The tablet has a 10.95-inch display and a stylus that stores in the top of the chassis. The display is a panel with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits brightness.

🔸 The ThinkTab X11 is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Coincidentally, the same chipset is used in Samsung's Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro.

🔸 The Lenovo ThinkTab X11 will go on sale in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa starting in April. The tablet will cost €500.

🔸 The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is also a workhorse, but it is more suited for office and classroom use. It has a 13-inch LCD screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio (3540 x 2190 pixels). The panel's refresh rate is 144 Hz, and it covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. Typical brightness is 600 nits, but it can reach 800 nits in high-brightness mode.

🔸 The display is surrounded by four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

🔸 The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (there is a microSD card slot). It has a 10,200 mAh battery with 45W charging support. The tablet ships with Android 16 pre-installed, and Lenovo promises only two OS updates and four years of security updates.

🔸 The previous Idea Tab Pro model used a Dimensity 8300 chipset and a 12.7-inch LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. That model launched with Android 14 and was scheduled for only two updates (meaning it will stop receiving updates with Android 16).

🔸 The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 will go on sale at the end of this month for €550. It supports the Lenovo 2-in-1 keyboard kit, sold separately, but a folio case and stylus are included for free.
