Based on real events.
1925. A young writer named Rybkin published a book with a print run of about 10,000 copies.
But nobody buys an unknown writer... The book seems not to exist. Money is frozen in paper, the author is in debt.
Then a marketer, Rybkin's friend, advised him to place an ad in the newspaper.
"A young handsome millionaire is looking for a girl who looks like the heroine of G. Rybkin's book"
The next day, the entire print run disappeared from the shelves.
No advertising campaign. No budget waste. No A/B tests. No shamanic dances. Just one precise hit on what a person truly wants.
The book didn't change. The meaning through which it was seen changed.
That's all marketing is.
The winner is not the one who shouts BUY louder. But the one who senses their audience more accurately: what warms them, what scares them, what they dream about at three in the morning.
This is marketing without a budget. Not cheap, but smart.
And it worked in 1925. It works in 2026. And it will always work as long as people have desires they can't name out loud.
Marketing is not advertising. It's the science of understanding your target audience.
