▶️ Smartphone manufacturers continue to seek new ways to improve the camera capabilities of their devices and collaborate with renowned companies in the field of image processing. At MWC 2026, a partnership between Honor and ARRI was announced.

▶️ For those unfamiliar with ARRI, it is a German manufacturer of cinema equipment founded in 1917. The company produces professional film cameras, lenses, lighting, and post-production equipment. Over the years, the company has received 20 different scientific and technical awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

▶️ Together with Honor, ARRI aims to bring cinematic-quality video recording capabilities to compact smartphones.

Our goal is to bring true cinematic aesthetics to smartphone shooting: natural colors, smooth highlight roll-off, and a sense of depth that matches how we perceive stories. Content creators should be able to easily transition from smartphone shooting to professional post-production workflows.

▶️ The first smartphone created as part of the Honor and ARRI collaboration will be the Honor Robot Phone, scheduled for release later this year.
