I already talked about Hanukkah here, now it's Purim's turn.

This is another important holiday, where you also need to eat a lot and deliciously and drink wine.
And we celebrate that.
Moreover, you need to drink a lot, so that at least it's fun, or better, so that you "cannot distinguish between the phrases: 'cursed be Haman' and 'blessed be Mordecai'."
A lighter version is "so as not to distinguish friend from foe."

Haman is a villain who planned to destroy the Jews in ancient Persia all coincidences and attempts at revenge are random, but everything worked out, Haman was executed, and now for Purim they bake traditional triangular cookies with filling, symbolizing his ears.

Well, I couldn't choose where to buy ears, so I bought them both in Rishon at the Jewish museum and in one of the Dizengoffs; in Rishon they seemed homemade, very authentic and even a bit ascetic, while in Dizengoff you can feel the desire to please a more fashionable audience, everything is colorful and trendy fillings (also tasty).
