I recently watched the movie "Friendship" and it was interesting, almost until the very end. But the ending is disgusting. When you finish watching, you don't understand what you just watched, why, what it was about, and what emotions you are left with. The entire review is a spoiler, read carefully if you are sensitive to them. 

At first, the film tells about a guy who has a family, a job, and he accidentally meets a neighbor. This is a typical setup, and we are just waiting for the start of really important events. 

Then the hero falls in love with the neighbor's lifestyle, and things get strange. The hero behaves oddly, and the neighbor decides not to be friends anymore, but our hero can no longer live without this new life. 5

A turning point occurs: our hero tries to replace his new friend-neighbor with his family. Then the hero tries to find other positive emotions, breaks into the neighbor's house, tries drugs, eats mushrooms with his son, and loses himself in this life. His wife leaves him. 

Then he improves a bit, starts behaving much better, but immediately relapses, runs into the neighbor's house with a weapon and demands attention and a second chance. He is arrested by the police, and that's the end. 

And then we ask ourselves: the story seems unfinished, without a conclusion, without an ending. In general, the director shows the hero's transformation very well, but it wasn't placed into a cool plot.
