In Russian schools, starting September 1, 2026, mandatory grades for behavior are planned - from 1st to 11th grade.

The Ministry of Education has already developed criteria:
discipline, social interaction, personal qualities, and academic activity. However, a survey on GARANT.RU showed a skeptical attitude.

And it's understandable: experts warn of the risk of subjectivity, a formal approach, and even psychological trauma for "special" children.
At the same time, the experiment yielded unexpected results: in some schools, discipline indeed improved, and only 0.28% of students received poor grades.

So what is this - a real educational tool or another "checkmark" in the electronic journal?

⚡️ Interestingly, in Soviet times, grades for behavior were abolished in 1989 precisely because of their subjectivity and formalism.
