Bullying at school will no longer be "childish pranks" - at least if the bill submitted to the State Duma is adopted. For systematic humiliation, insults and cyberbullying, fines of up to half a million rubles are proposed.

A survey on the GARANT.RU portal showed: 76% of readers support the idea. And this is not surprising - many parents have faced a situation where their child is bullied, and it is almost impossible to influence the offenders.

Teachers often throw up their hands, the police are not called, and the parents of the aggressors deny the problem.

Bullying is difficult to prove!

According to research, up to 60% of bullying cases occur not in front of teachers, but on social networks, messengers, or "around the school corner".

Such forms of aggression are almost impossible to confirm materially - there are no screenshots, recordings, or witnesses.

🆘 Teacher: "I have been working at school for 15 years. I'll be honest: bullying exists, and there is a lot of it. But the problem is that teachers are often powerless. We write reports, call parents, put them on record - but what's the use? The parents of the aggressors are often aggressive themselves or deny the problem. Fines for them are perhaps the only way to get through. But I'm afraid that schools will simply start hushing up cases to avoid paying. And bullying will just go underground, become hidden and sophisticated."
