Such orders are twice as many as orders with one ticket, and four times as many as with three. Five or more tickets are purchased only in 3% of cases.

The largest average number of tickets per order is for fantasy, children's, adventure films, and cartoons. Such films are often aimed at a family audience, so they are likely often attended by large groups: adults with children.

Genres with the smallest average number of tickets per order are historical, crime, and melodramas. Historical films are the only genre where people go alone even more often than in pairs.
