Watched François Ozon's 'The Stranger', and it's been a long time since I had such a feeling – after watching, I wanted to stay silent

It took some time to process what I had seen. And how beautifully it was shot: both the spectacular work with light (whether in enclosed spaces or open ones), and the emphasis on physicality, allowing you to feel the heat the protagonist experiences (I thought this aspect of the book couldn't be adapted, but no!). And the fresh reading of the source material, adding postcolonial thoughts, turned out to be quite fitting.
