I wouldn't be so sure about marketers - they won't die out because marketing is not just a profession, but a way of thinking.

It is entrepreneurs who will change or "die out", because 90% of small businesses don't have a marketer 😁 who would have to adapt.

Halligan is certainly cool, but his opinion is just a phrase that fans or journalists remember and repost, not himself... most likely.

It's simple here:
The world has changed, the customer has changed, consumption principles are also changing rapidly... Marketers adapt and survive because their job is to help businesses grow. This means that a marketer lives on the money they earn through their client.

But small businesses risk dying out simply because they couldn't even build their marketing before, or hire a good specialist, or get advice... And in the new time, when everything has become more expensive and complicated, and there are fewer experts, the chances of gaining a competitive advantage, quickly adapting (i.e., changing 90% of processes), starting all over again are very slim.

* Look for new solutions.
* Remove fuss from processes.
* Simplify the strategy.
* Learn either the basics of marketing (LINK), or increase your awareness of trends and solutions in your niche.
* Be bolder in implementing new solutions.
* Invest in fundamental classic solutions.

* Even in quotes from Forbes representatives, there is a nuance 😉
