This idea has always inspired me too—throughout my life, I often refused my parents' help, deliberately making my path harder. And I know this is common in our culture. We reject the benefits we have because we feel we don't have the right to use them, since we didn't earn them ourselves.
But the other day I learned about Donald Trump's story. It turns out he made his first fortune thanks to his father's connections and money. If you think about it, there's nothing wrong with that—he had resources, he used them to create even more resources. However, in our society, this is not supported: they say, well, it's clear with him, it was easier for him, and so on.
But if you think about it, at the end of life, we won't be judged by where we started. We will only see the result. So, in that case, it's more effective to use all possible methods and resources we have.
What do you think about actively using those resources that we for some reason refuse because our story won't be as beautiful?
