As part of the training at SKOLTECH, we were choosing which projects to develop. I took on the development of the transportation direction!

To better study the market, I analyzed research from PwC («Transport & Logistics Barometer 2024») and Deloitte («Global Transportation Trends 2025»).

I share the main trends I found:
• Logistics companies are actively merging for digitalization and emission reduction
• Governments are introducing new financing models instead of traditional taxes
• Eco-friendly transport is developing: electric vehicles, hydrogen solutions, and sustainable aviation fuel
• Technologies (AI, autonomous systems, cybersecurity) are becoming critically important


For Russian startups, this opens opportunities in logistics digitalization, IoT solutions, and sustainable technologies.

Entering the international market is possible through partnerships with foreign companies, participation in accelerators, and promotion of own technology platforms.

The future of transport lies in digital, eco-friendly, and sustainable solutions, where startups can become drivers of change.
